While working on the Texas Enterprise Fund, Shane managed the more than $100+ million grant program which helped attract/retain businesses committed to creating over 6,000 jobs and spending more than $400M in Texas.

Shane also oversaw the Texas Enterprise Zone Program, which is a state sales and use tax refund program designed to encourage private investment and job creation in economically distressed areas of the state.

In addition to his economic development work, Shane spent years working in the Texas House of Representatives for multiple members helping pass legislation that impacts the lives of 28 million Texans.

In addition to his government work, Shane founded ATX Plays, a sports and social league used to raise awareness for more than 25 nonprofits in Austin and voted 2016's "Most Uniquely Austin Business" at the Greater Austin Business Awards.
