The night was memorable as the Texans families gathered for barbeque and celebrating success. The busy serving line gave way to relative quiet as the meal got underway. President Ron Buchert opened the program with a discussion of the Texans ideals and his reasons for volunteering.

The winner for designing the newest club T-shirt was Brian Edman from the U-16 Red Team. Door prizes were also handed out. Finally, individual teams and their accomplishments were recognized.

The guests of honor were the U18 team members who would soon graduate from high school. Their coach, Emeka Ozurumba, spoke of his memories training these fine young men.
